This epic team is on a mission to make your mouth water and inspire others with their shared passion for delicious food. Set against the backdrop of nature, Tyler, Kassy, and Tosh are here to help you #FuelYourAdventure outdoors.

Welcome to CAMPKITCHEN HQ, located just outside of Peterborough, ON. Only one year after launching CAMPKITCHEN, Chef Tyler, his wife Kassy, and Tosh are celebrating a new home base—one that will allow them to further develop their line of freeze-dried camp meals, set to launch in early 2026.

Chef Tyler and his wife Kassy come from a fine dining background. Tyler has always had a deep-rooted passion for supporting local food systems, using seasonal ingredients, and telling a story through his cooking.

The couple sold their restaurant in 2022 to embark on a new and exciting adventure outdoors with only one goal in mind: inspire others to get outside and cook too.

Together they have built a business that focuses on three pillars: education, storytelling and delicious food.

The Chef, The Storyteller & The Adventurer

Chef Tyler is a master of cooking over an open fire. Whether leading outdoor culinary experiences with small groups or embarking on solo backcountry trips, he brings a wealth of food prep knowledge and expert tips to help elevate your outdoor cooking skills.

"My whole life I have always taken any opportunity to cook over the fire because it feels like home to me. I love working with natural elements and enjoying my food with the backdrop of nature.

CAMPKITCHEN has given me the opportunity to share my passion with others. From the twig stove I personally designed to the freeze-dried camp meals I'm currently developing, my goal is to empower people to escape the stresses of everyday life and embrace some much-needed healing time outdoors.

Richard Tosh from Tosh Self Propelled on YouTube officially joined the CAMPKITCHEN team in May 2025.

Tyler, Kassy and Tosh met at the Toronto Outdoor Adventure show. A few months later Tyler and Tosh connected to film a freeze-dried meal prep video for Tosh's channel.

We didn't know it then, but that video would foreshadow our future and solidify a partnership that would propel CAMPKITCHEN to the next level!

Tosh brings an abundance of outdoor experience and knowledge to the table. His passion for high quality food and his love for spending time tripping in the backcountry make him the perfect missing piece.
